Have you been watching the show called "Your Home In Their Hands" on BBC1? It’s a show where people leave the keys to their homes to amateur interior designers and let them (re)design three rooms of the house.
As a great admirer of BBC, I have to say I am very disappointed that something like this would be produced by the Corporation. I do realize that this is an easy way of making TV programs, and it’s meant to be entertainment not a documentary, but coming from BBC? Really? Come on guys, I expect so much more from you!
After my previous blog, Choosing your colour scheme, I received an email saying that I missed a step: “I’m one of those people who would love to use colour, but my initial problem is that I’m not even sure which colours I like! So before jumping to the colour scheme, I would need help in finding the colours and deciding which ones I like!”
Fair enough, I did miss a step. But better late than never! This blog post is for you, Ms C!
We moved to our house 8 months ago. The location is spot on, we have lovely neighbours (we are now planning to have a street party after summer holidays!) and we feel that the house is just right for us. Unfortunately the house is not quite ready yet. For the past 8 months we have lived with boxes, dust and a steady stream of builders.
Whether you have a small balcony or a big garden, you want to make the most of the warm weather that is (hopefully!) about to come. Here are some - a bit unusual - seats for relaxing and enjoying the summer.
